The Almost Halloween Dress

So here it is, the Almost Halloween Dress. I picked this pattern up because i just loooove the little bib detail, collar, and big French cuffs. I thought I would go for an uptown Wednesday Adams look for Halloween this year and decided to make it up in a black flat crepe-y drapey poly with white satin collar, cuffs, and bib (all from Le Stash). However, a sick kitty and other last minute life stuff kept me from realizing my Halloween Dress dreams in 2008 and now it sits in a pile, completely cut but not sewn. It happens, no biggie, but I still want to finish it because it's just too darn cute not be sitting in my closet. The big question now is, where on earth would I wear it? I think I'll just have to go for it and summon my inner Carrie Bradshaw for this one. She will probably tell me to pair it with turquoise shoes and a chunky belt or something.

I second the turqoise heels (or how about yellow!?) with matching chunky belt, would be tres cute! And then you're set for next Halloween, no?
